Auburn routed the Kansas Jayhawks 89 – 75 in the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament Saturday.
Auburn jumped out to a 17 point lead and built it to 26 points at halftime. Kansas tried to rally in the 2nd half out scoring Auburn 50-38 in the 2nd half. Coach Bill Self took the blame.
Dedric Lawson scored a team high 25 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Kansas finishes he season 26-10.
Auburn advances to the sweet 16. They will play the winner of Sundays game between North Carolina and Washington in Kansas City.
