Consideration of bids for work on Emporia High School will highlight the USD 253 Board of Education meeting Wednesday evening.
The bids will be for a project to replace sections of roof at EHS. The repairs are needed due to sections of the roof failing and needing frequent repair thanks to hail damage from back in May of 2018.
Board members will also continue discussions on secure and safe entrances at district buildings. Further discussions regarding the HTK district facility needs assessment is also planned.
One executive session is also on the agenda. The meeting will begin at 7 pm inside the Mary Herbert Education Center.
