The NCAA mens basketball tournament is now down to the Elite 8.
Friday night in the regional semi-finals:
In the Midwest Regional, being played in Kansas City.
Auburn up-set number 1 seed North Carolina 97-80.
Kentucky out scored Houston 62-58.
In the East Regional:
Duke held on for a 75-73 win over Virginia Tech.
Michigan State out scored LSU 80-63.
In Saturdays regional championship games:
In the West Gonzaga plays Texas Tech- tip-off is set for 5:09.
In the South Virginia plays Purdue with tip-off set for 7:49.
Both games will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.

In the NCAA Division II womens championship game Lubbock Christian out scored Southwestern Oklahoma State 95-85 in double overtime.
The mens D-II championship game will be played Saturday with Northwest Missouri State playing Point Loma, tipoff is set for 2pm.
