The Emporia State womens and mens tennis teams were defeated by Washburn Sunday.
Washburn won the womens duel 5-2. Victoria Mackova won at number 3 singles and Karen Santiago won at number 6 singles for Emporia State.
Washburn won the mens duel 6-1. Andy Graf won at #6 singles for Emporia State. Taylor Nelson and Charles Gortzounian also won at number 2 doubles. Washburn won the other 2 doubles matches to win the doubles point.
