A Pottawatomie County man was hurt in a crash north of Admire early Tuesday.
Lyon County Sgt. Doug Stump says 34-year-old Andrew Kuchera of Wamego was southbound on Kansas Highway 99, about four miles north of Admire and three miles south of the Lyon-Wabaunsee county line when the crash happened around 1:30 am. Kuchera was in the 3700 block of K-99 and failed to negotiate a curve in the highway. His vehicle then left the road and stopped in a small creek.
Kuchera was first taken by ambulance to Newman Regional Health. He was then transferred to KU Medical Center in Kansas City. Authorites say his injuries appear to be not life-threatening.
Kuchera was wearing his seatbelt when the crash happened.
