More work is coming on the Prairie Street overpass Friday, which means more traffic adjustments perhaps all day long.
On Thursday, the Lyon County Highway Department started a project to clear drains along the bridge. That prompted the department to close one lane of traffic and use a special traffic crew to et drivers through the work zone.
The work continues Friday from South Avenue to the overpass itself. As was the case Thursday, no timetable has been announced for when this project will be done.
