Thick fog is setting up near Emporia overnight.
The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory for Chase and Greenwood counties until 10 am. Visibility could be a quarter-mile or less, especially in low-lying areas or near creeks, rivers, ponds and lakes.
If you’re driving, slow down, use low-beam headlights and increase the space between your vehicle and other vehicles nearby.
