Kansas Junior Dedric Lawson has declared for the NBA draft. In a statement via twitter Lawson said he would begin preparing for the NBA Draft immediately.
After spending his freshman and sophomore seasons at Memphis Lawson played his junior season at Kansas. He averaged 19 points and 10 rebounds per game last season, earning first-team all-Big 12 honors and consensus third-team All-America honors.
K.J. Lawson announced last week that he would be transfering from Kansas. Lawson is set to graduate this spring and will be a graduate transfer.
Sophomore Charlie Moore has also announced he plans to transfer.
