The Seattle Mariners exploded for 8 runs in the 6th inning on the way to a 13-5 win over the Kansas City Royals Monday night.
The Royals had a 4-2 lead after 3 innings. Seattle tied the game in the 5th inning and took the lead for good in the 6th.
Whit Merrifield did extend his hitting streak to 29.
