A new set of child sex abuse charges has now been filed against an Olpe man after a second alleged victim became part of the investigation.
Garry Wilson was originally in Lyon County District Court on Thursday for a preliminary hearing on charges of aggravated criminal sodomy, aggravated indecent liberties and aggravated indecent solicitation. Wilson, 64, waived his right to that hearing, even though prosecutors dropped the indecent solicitation count and added a second indecent liberties charge in its place.
During Thursday’s hearing, Assistant County Attorney Laura Miser announced two new charges of aggravated indecent liberties as part of a separate but related case against Wilson. The legal complaint has not yet been filed and no affidavit is available in this case.
Wilson has a hearing May 3 on the original counts. Court dates are pending in connection to the new charges.
