Friday evening students will be in Didde Catholic Campus Center’s annual Sleep in a Box weekend.
Students will set up boxes at 1415 Merchant Street to sleep in over the weekend to simulate the life of homeless Americans. For students like past director of Shelby Russel, the experience is awe-inspiring.
The event will begin 5 pm Friday and end Sunday morning. Donations will be accepted in person during that time or you can mail donations to the Didde Catholic Campus Center.
All proceeds will go towards the Emporia Rescue Mission.
