Witness Emporia State University’s annual Glass Guild Blowout beginning on Saturday morning.
The Glass Guild Blowout is an event where ESU art students work with glass blowing with a visiting artist every year. This year’s traveling artist is Jen Elek, an instructor for more than twenty years.
The tentative schedule for the Blowout is as follows:
- Hot Glass Demonstrations: 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
- Lunch: 12:30 pm – 1:30 pm
- Hot Glass Demonstrations: 1:30 pm – 5:00 pm
- Potluck and Live Music: 5:30 pm – 7:00 pm
- Auction: 7:00 pm
