The Kansas City Royals ended their 10 game losing skid with a 8-1 win over Cleveland Friday night.
The Royals scored 6 of the runs in the first inning. Adalberto Mondesi tripled in Whit Merrifield. Alex Gordon hit a 2 run home run. Lucas Duda hit a sacrifice fly and Ryan Owings drove in 2 runs with a double. In the 6th inning Owings stole home.
The Royals and Indians play again Saturday night. Homer Bailey will be the starting pitcher for the Royals with first pitch at 6:15p. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM beginning at 5:30p.
