The Emporia State tennis teams were defeated by nationally ranked Southwest Baptist Monday.
The women lost to 28th ranked Southwest Baptist 6-1. Silvana Caceres won at number 6 singles for the lone Emporia State win.
The men were swept by the 13th ranked Bearcats 7-0.
Tuesday both the women and men play at Lindenwood. The winner of the mens duel will take the final spot in the MIAA tournament to be played April 26th thru 28th in Oklahoma City.
