The Emporia State baseball team opens a 3 game series at Washburn Thursday evening.
The Hornets begin the weekend in 3rd place in the MIAA standings. Washburn is in 9th place. Coach Seth Wheeler says they have to avoid looking to far ahead.
The two teams will play at 5pm Thursday and Friday and at 1pm on Saturday. Saturdays game will be broadcast on MIX 104.9.
