The Emporia High girls soccer team was shutout by Wichita Classical 2-0 Thursday.
Classical scored both goals 28 seconds apart with over 27 minutes to play. Coach Oscar Macias said not being able to score hurt them.
The Lady Spartans are now 1-8-2 for the season. They are scheduled to play at Topeka West Monday.
