Court proceedings connected to a drug distribution ring that came to light last fall could finish up this week.
Seana Herron faces sentencing at 9:30 am Wednesday. She pleaded to one count of possession with intent to sell marijuana.
Co-defendant Cole Bowen is set for sentencing at 10:30 am Thursday. He was convicted on separate counts of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine and possession of paraphernalia with intent to manufacture, plant or cultivate.
Sentencings for Herron and Bowen follow convictions or pleas against three other people:
*Amanda Alvarado received 18 months probation after pleading no contest to single counts of meth possession and aggravated child endangerment.
*Luis Guillen received 67 months in prison after pleading to one count of drug possession with intent to distribute.
*Jacob Rodriguez received 12.5 years after pleading guilty to drug possession with intent to distribute.
All five were arrested in September after alleged drug activity, including sales near Emporia Christian School and Sacred Heart School.
