Safe Kids Emporia will have their first Child Passenger Safety Check Lane of the year coming this Saturday.
The Child Passenger Safety Check Lane is a free service where children’s car seats are inspected to ensure they’re as secure as possible. Kansas Children Service League representative Bev Long gives the when and where of the event.
The event is free and Emporia Police Sergeant Lisa Sage stresses that there is no judgment at the Safety Check. It’s strictly a safety event and learning experience and no tickets will be given out. Sergeant Sage also explains what all to bring to the event.
