The Emporia High boys tennis team finished in a tie for 3rd place in the Emporia Invitational Thursday. Salina Central the number 1 ranked team in 5A finished in 1st place, Manhattan was 2nd. Emporia High tied with St. Thomas Aquinas.
The doubles team of Taylor Moorman and Cameron Kienholz finished in 2nd place. They were defeated by a duo from Salina Central.
Brendon Kienholz and Wyatt Cahoone finished in 5th place. Josh Stuttler finished in 6th place and Fernando Becerra finished in 16th place. Emporia High will host a tournament Saturday.
