Not a good beginning for the Emporia State baseball team in a 3 game series at Northeastern State Friday.
The Hornets were out scored 10-2. The Riverhawks out hit the Hornets 16-7. Emporia State did strand 9 base runners including leaving the bases loaded in the 8th inning. Emporia State and Northeastern State play again Saturday.
