The Emporia State track and field team has athletes competing at the Drake Relays. Thursday Jared Reinke ran a season’s best of 1:54.00 in the unseeded 800m to place 13th overall in the field of 29 runners entered in the race. The Hornets are scheduled to compete in nine events on Friday. Emporia State track athletes will also be competing at the Kip Janvrin Open.
