The season came to an end for the Emporia State womens tennis team at the MIAA Tournament Friday.
The Lady Hornets were defeated by Northwest Missouri State 4-0.
Northwest won 2 of the doubles matches to earn the doubles point and won 3 singles matches to end the duel. The 3rd doubles match and the other 3 singles matches were unfinished.
The Men play their matches Saturday. Emporia State will open against Southwest Baptist. Taylor Nelson will be playing number 3 singles.
The other semi-final has Washburn playing Northwest Missouri State.
