The Emporia State mens and womens 4 by 400 relay teams advanced to the finals at the Drake Relays Friday.
The Mens 4 by 4 relay team of Brandon Rhone, Hayden Goodpaster, Parker Evans and Luke Stenzel had the fastest time in the prelims with a time of 3:11.5 which is a provisional time for nationals.
The womens 4 by 4 relay team of Leah Nelson, Brianna Schmitz, Jazmin Williams and Kelsey Graber had the 8th fastest time in the prelims.
The womens sprint medley relay team of Hannah Shield, Jordyn Harmon, Brianna Schmitz and Leah Nelson finished in 4th place.
The mens sprint medley relay team of Malcomb Dade, Jordan Reed, Mitchell Hamlin and Jared Reinke finished in 6th place.
