The Emporia High boys golf team finished in 2nd place in the Centennial League tournament Monday. Washburn Rural won the team title by 7 strokes.
Emporia Highs Gentry Scheve finished in 2nd place, 1 stroke back of medalist Mac Piles of Hayden.
Caleb Schmid finished in 7th place with a 78. Connor Hoyt and Garyn Fisher both shot 82s, after scorecard play-off Hoyt finished 14th and Fisher 15th. Scheve earned 1st team Centennial League honors. Caleb Schmid earned 2nd team honors. Connor Hoyt and Garyn Fisher received honorable mentions.
