An informational opportunity regarding Medicare options is happening Friday.
The Medicare Basics Seminar will be taking place Friday afternoon and will offer local senior citizens free unbiased answers to their Medicare questions. The presentation is free to the public and sponsored by the North Central Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging.
Senior Health Insurance Counselors of Kansas (SHICK) will be on hand to discuss topics such as Medicare Parts A and B, supplement insurance options and how to appeal a bill. Those who are new to Medicare may also receive information on how to successfully enroll.
The presentation will take place at 12:30 pm inside the North Lyon County Senior Center located at 423 S. Main Street in Allen and will be delivered by SHICK coordinator Aaren Sunderman.
