The Emporia City Commission have several items to consider during their afternoon action session Wednesday.
One major item on the agenda will be the potential approval for modifications at the Emporia Water Treatment Plant. The modifications will allow the plant to better monitor ozone levels and reduce the possibility of byproducts forming in the water.
Commissioners will also consider a bid for a new 11-foot Rotary Mower for the Park Department and an ordinance and beer garden requests for the Gravel Expo and Dirty Kanza finish line party. Two prcolamations are on the agenda as well.
Three executive sessions are also planned, the meeting gets underway at 1:30 pm inside the Municipal at White Auditorium.
