The Kansas Free For Arts free monthly concert will feature a Kansas band at the Copper Top, along with a few new additives to the evening’s show.
The vision of this organization is to create a culturally vibrant Kansas with a thriving economy fueled by a happy, healthy and well-educated population. These free concerts strive to complete that goal, and Executive Director Hank Osterhout talks about the night’s featured band.
At this month’s free concert, unlike previous concerts, there will be a silent auction and raffle to raise money for the Halfway to Everywhere (H2E) Fest in August.
The H2E Fest will be a free event here in Emporia featuring thirty-five bands, a collection of art galleries, food vendors, and many more.
Go to the Copper Top this Friday night at 7:00 pm for free live music and to support the Kansas Free For Arts H2E Fest. For more information, visit their website at ksfreeforarts.org or go to their Facebook page.
