Joining Saturday’s Cinco de Mayo celebrations on Commercial St. was All of Us, a research program from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
All of Us is dedicated to the mission of compiling data from people around the nation. The main goal is to better help individualize treatments for diseases, as Tour Manager Melissa Lopez says.
To begin, create a free account on the All of Us webpage or mobile application. Then, complete a series of surveys and consent forms. Next is to have a free physical evaluation performed, where measurements, as well as blood and urine samples, are taken. After those steps, you become one of one million participants and are eligible to receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
