A Trip to state will be on the line for the Emporia High baseball team beginning Monday.
They will play Kansas City Sumner in the first round of the St. Thomas Aquinas hosted regional. The Spartans take a 4 game winning streak into the tournament. Senior Hayden Baumwart says they are playing for each other.
The first game has Topeka West playing Kansas City Turner. The winner of that game will play St. Thomas Aquinas.
