Nobody was transported for medical care after a reported injury crash in northeast Lyon County on Tuesday morning.
Deputies and Emporia Fire’s rescue personnel went to the 1800 block of US Highway 56 around 7 am for a reported rollover crash involving an SUV. The crash site happened near a bridge just east of the Kansas Turnpike’s Admire-Council Grove exit, about 20 miles northeast of Emporia.
Eastbound traffic is currently blocked at the crash site. Further updates are coming through the morning on KVOE and KVOE.com.
