Area High School softball and baseball teams continue play in regional tournaments.
Burlingame is headed to the 2-1A State softball tournament after defeating Northern Heights 6-5 in 8 innings in the Waverly regional Championship game.
In the semi-finals Burlingame defeated Lebo Waverly 5-3. Northern Heights out scored Chase County 6-4.

At the Osage City Softball Regional:
Osage City plays Silver Lake and Burlington plays Prairie View in the Semi-finals.
At McLouth, Mission Valley plays Oskaloosa in the regional championship game.
Tuesday Mission Valley defeated McLouth 7-3 in the semi-finals and shutout Troy 15-0 in the first round.
Regional baseball:
Chase County was out scored by Marion 14-4 in the Ell-Saline regional Championship game.
In the semi-finals Chase County defeated Ell-Saline 9-5.
At Wabaunsee Wednesday, Mission Valley plays Rossville in the championship game.
At Burlington in the semi-finals, Burlington plays West Franklin and Eureka plays Prairie View.
