Emporia State University campus will be shut down on Sunday for an electrical outage.
All buildings on the ESU campus will be closed all day on Sunday while Westar workers do maintenance and repairs to a substation located on campus. The campus will re-open on Monday.
Sections of Highland Street will be closed off from Tuesday to Thursday so that crews can make preparations for the outage work.
