The Emporia High will be sending 26 athletes to compete in 20 events to the State Track meet.
At Fridays regional meet the Emporia High girls finished in 1st place and the boys finished in 2nd place.
Emporia High had 8 regional champions.
Matthew East won the 110 hurdles.
Matthew also qualified for the 300 hurdles and as part of the boys 4 by 400 relay team.
Rafael Vasquez won the 300 hurdles.
Rafael also qualified for state in the 110 hurdles and as part of the 4 by 400 relay.
Alexis Davies won the 400 meter dash.
Alexis also qualified for state in the 200 meter dash and as part of the 4 by 400 relay.
The boys 4 by 100 relay team of Storm Dial, Spencer Stewart, Colton Bieker and Wilber Landaverdie finished in 1st place.
Mya Tovar won the Javelin.
Isaac Huber won the pole vault.
Elizabeth Schwerdtfeger won the triple jump.
Elizabeth also qualified for state in the 100 hurdles, long jump and as part of the 4 by 100 relay.
Hayden Pauls won the shot put.

64 athletes from area schools will be competing in 58 individual events plus 14 relays.
Olpe will be sending 7 athletes to compete in 14 individual events.
Macy Smith in the 3200 meter run, 1600 meter run and 300 hurdles.
Nolan Redeker in the 3200 meter run and 1600 meter run.
Carter Cox in the 100 and 200 meter dashes and 300 hurdles. He was a regional champion in the 200 meter dash.
Camden Hoelting in the 1600 and 800 meter runs. He was the regional champion in both events.

Hamiltons Kelton Buettner qualified for the 110 hurdles, triple jump, long jump and high jump as a regional champion.
Lebos Kyle Reese qualified for the long jump and pole vault. Abby Peak qualified for the pole vault.
For Burlingame- Emmy Punches qualified for the 1600 meter run. Trevin Lewis qualified for the 400 meter dash, high jump and long jump. Daelyn Winters qualified for the high jump. The girls and boys 4 by 800 relays and the boys 4 by 400 relay.
Chase County qualified for 9 events. Maya Eidman in the 400 meter dash. Tanner Koch in the 110 hurdles. Makenzie Higgs in the 100 meter dash. Brayden Schroer in the high jump. Cory Johnson in the 800. The girls and boys 4 by 800 relays. The girls and boys 4 by 400 relays.
Madison had athletes qualify in 7 events. George Gonzales in the 300 hurdles. Nasun Wasson in the 100 meter dash. Sydney Talkington in the shot put. Casey Helm in the discus. Emily Farrow and Reese Farrow in the high jump. The boys 4 by 100 and boys 4 by 400 relays.
Southern Coffey County athletes qualified for 7 events. Kolgan Ohl in the Shot put, javelin and discus. Dawson Leimkuler in the shot put. Cooper Harred in the discus. Kyra Ohl in the discus. Jaden Pankey in the high jump. Haven Harvey and Jett Harvey in the javelin.
Waverlys Megan Foster qualified for the 400 meter dash, 200 meter dash, long jump and triple jump. She was regional champion in the long jump. Chelsea Lacey qualified for the high jump.
Marais des Cygnes Valley had Amber Walbeck qualify for the shot put and javelin. Chloe Volkman qualified for the javelin.
Northern Heights had 5 athletes qualify for individual events. Trey Rathke in the 110 hurdles. Tanner Boyce in the 400 and 200 meter dashes. He was the regional champion in both events. Tee Preisner in the shot put. Khylee Massey in the discus and Kaley Boyce in the high jump. The boys 4 by 800 relay.
Mission Valley had Brooke Roberts qualify for the shot put, Caleb Lisk in the pole vaule and the girls 4 by 100 rely.
Abigail Criqui of Lyndon qualified for the triple jump. The Lyndon girls 4 by 400 relay also qualified for State.
Osage City had 10 individuals qualify in 10 events and 4 relays. Isabella Melgran qualified for the 3200 and 1600 meter runs. Jayce Brenner qualified for the 1600. Walker Stromgren qualified for the 400 meter dash. Shane Orender and Adam Delekta qualified for the 800 meter run. Claire Crawford and Kevin Lauber qualified for the discus. Amanda Kendal in the high jump- a regional champion. Britney Wilkens in the long jump and Trenton Plinsky in the triple jump.
Council Grove will be sending 6 to compete in 8 individual events. Lauren Carlson won both the 100 and 200 meter dashes at regionals. Tucker Day won the shot put and discus and broke the school record in the discus. Lauren Reddick in the high jump. Hadyen Bieling in the high jump. Abbie Good and Darian Julian in the long jump. The girls 4 by 100 and 4 by 400 relays.
Burlington will be sending 5 athletes to compete in individual events. Seth Jarvis in the 3200 meter run. Karlie Whitworth in the 100 hurdles. Ashlyn Doebele in the long jump, triple jump, 200 and 400 meter dashes. Grace Kuhlman in the 300 hurdles and Carlee Broyles in the pole vault. The girls 4 by 800 relay also qualified for state.
