Candidate filings continue at the Lyon County Election Office.
Kayla Burton becomes the fourth candidate to file for Americus City Council, joining Nicky Nuessen, Larry Birk and Veronica Dean on the ballot. Meanwhile, Kevin Flott has filed for USD 252 Southern Lyon County School Board Position 4. He’s the only candidate for that position on the board.
The candidate filing and withdrawal deadline is June 3. Several positions do not have any candidate filings yet:

*Hartford Mayor and City Council
*Neosho Rapids Mayor and City Council
*Olpe Mayor
*USD 252 Southern Lyon County Positions 1, 5
