The Emporia Arts Center was busy for its sixth annual Summer Arts Kickoff event Tuesday evening.
Director Dawn Young says busy is the unofficial theme for the upcoming summer at the Arts Center as well.
Other summer activities will include Design with a Splash of Juice for those under 21 or Design with a Splash of Wine for adults and wheel-throwing activities for all ages.
Kids and parents could take part in craft activities, view clay demonstrations and see exhibits in the Trusler Art Gallery.
