- Greenwood County until 10:00 pm
Flash Flood Warnings in effect (5/24/19):
- Coffey County until 10:15 pm
- Greenwood County until 11:15 pm
- Osage County until 10:15 pm
Flash Flood Emergencies in effect (5/24/19):
- No active flash flood emergencies are currently in effect for the KVOE listening area
Flood Warnings in effect (5/24/19):
- Chase County until 9:27 am May 27th
- Greenwood County until 10:45 am May 25th
- Lyon County until 3:15 am May 25th
County road closures have begun to be announced:

- Road H between Roads 130 & 140

- Numerous county roads closed

- K58 west-northwest of Gridley
- K58 at US-75 west of LeRoy impassable with water over the roadway

- US-54 Highway near Woodson County line

- US-75 Highway closed due to flooding
- Several city roads impassable

Hail also accompanied the night’s severe thunderstorm and size totals are coming in:
- Allen – Nickel-sized hail
Wind speeds from the severe weather varied throughout the KVOE listening area:
- Burlington – 60 mph wind gusts
- Gridley – 70 mph wind gusts
Burlington has a shelter open at the Coffey County Courthouse. Shelter is also available at LeRoy for those affected by flooding.
