Emporia State Athletic Director Kent Weiser has announced the hiring of Les Stafford to be the next Head Womens and Mens Tennis Coach.
Stafford a former Emporia State tennis player was a 4 time national qualifier.
He spent 14 seasons as the Head Womens Tennis Coach at Wichita State.
For the last the last 15 years as the head tennis pro at Crestview Country Club in Wichita. He is a United States Professional Tennis Association Certified Pro and has taken junior players to regional and national level competition.
Kent Weiser said it felt like the right choice from the start.
Stafford replaces Marko Goles-Bolic, who served as the interim coach during the 2018-19 season.
