Lyon County’s RSVP Program now has a volunteer coordinator and receptionist.
The North Central-Flint Hills Area Agency on Aging says Nikki Metz is now the volunteer coordinator for the Retired Senior Volunteer Program, while Dana Lee comes on board as receptionist.
Metz served 12 years as Emporia State University’s alumni program coordinator. She will now coordinate with local volunteers and community groups. Lee, meanwhile, served a decade as a dispatch supervisor for Lyon County Communications.
RSVP is among the suite of services offered by the Area Agency on Aging at Emporia’s Friendship Center, 221 West Logan. Residents wanting to be involved in RSVP should call 855-340-8001.
