The David Traylor Zoo will be a jungle of fun during its Stroll and Show Friday night.
The Stroll and Show event is held every year and includes an activity-filled stroll through the zoo and a movie screening. The event will be jungle themed to match this year’s movie The Jungle Book.
All activities will be held in different stations and include making safari binoculars, matching sounds to jungle animals, and decorating leaves to put on the education center tree. Before the movie begins, there will be singing and dancing led by Mobilizing Literacy.
David Traylor Zoo Outreach Coordinator Michelle Sagers says visiting the zoo in the evening is a unique experience.
The Stroll and Show will start at 7 pm with the singing and dancing before the movie starting at 8:30 pm. The entire event, including concessions, is free to everyone.
