The Emporia Junior Legion split a doubleheader with Newton Wednesday night.
The Post 5 Juniors won the first game 8-5. They scored 7 of the runs in the 6th inning.
Newton won the 2nd game 12-11. Emporia had built a 10-0 lead before Newton scored 12 runs in the 4th inning.
The Post 5 Juniors are now 2-7 for the season. They will play in a tournament at Andover beginning on Friday.
