The Emporia Junior Legion split play Saturday.
The Post 5 Juniors were outscored by Salina Hawks 13-5, with Salina scoring seven runs in the first two innings. The Juniors bounced back against Garnett with a 21-15 win. Vance Kinsey had four hits and drove in four runs to help power the offense.
The Junior Legion is at Buhler, for a doubleheader, Tuesday. The Senior Legion returns to action, on Wednesday, with a doubleheader against Ottawa at Soden’s Grove.
