It may well be later this week before the investigation is finished into a destructive garage fire in Emporia this week.
Fire destroyed the garage at 1019 Garfield on Monday. The fire spread to nearby trees and power lines but did not affect the home or other nearby structures. The cause and origination point have not been released.
The garage was owned by Joy Morgan and was supposed to be removed from the property shortly before the fire started.
