Organizers of the Symphony in the Flint Hills will meet with the media Wednesday after weather forced the cancellation of the annual concert this past weekend.
The briefing will discuss the current damage assessment after storms destroyed tents and other equipment at Irma’s Pasture near Bazaar early Saturday. In addition, organizers will discuss the financial impact from the cancellation — the first in the event’s 14-year history — and currently-unspecified next steps.
The briefing is at 10 am at the Symphony in the Flint Hills Gallery, 331 Broadway in Cottonwood Falls.
