Our hot, steamy conditions expected the next few days could lead to shower and storm chances through the weekend. That now includes three separate periods of potential severe weather the next few days.
The National Weather Service says there is a slight risk of severe weather for the early morning hours Friday, followed by a marginal-to-slight risk early Saturday and a slight risk for Saturday afternoon and evening. Hail, high winds and flooding rain are the main concern with all three time periods, and isolated tornadoes are also possible Saturday afternoon.
