The Emporia Senior Center is holding its first old fashioned 4th of July celebration.
The ESC welcomes the community to join them from 3 pm to 7 pm this 4th of July at their park just east of the building. The free event will include games for all and prizes.
Starting at 5 pm, they are also holding a potluck dinner followed by a watermelon feed at 6 pm. Folks attending are asked to bring chairs, table service and a food item. Drinks will be provided.
