A 3 run home run by Hunter Dozier helped lift the Kansas City Royals to a 6-1 win over the Minnesota Twins Sunday.
The Royals scored 5 runs in the 3rd inning. Nicky Lopez drove in a run with a bunt single. Alex Gordon doubled driving in 2 runs before Doziers home run. Dozier credited his teammates for setting the table for him.
Homer Bailey was the winning pitcher. The Royals begin a 3 game series at Cleveland tonight. Brad Keller will be the starting pitcher for the Royals with first pitch set for 6:10p. Coverage on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM begins at 6pm.
