The Emporia Senior American Legion baseball team out scored Ottawa 9-3 for their 20th win of the season.
Post 5 held a 7-0 lead before Ottawa scored 3 runs in the bottom of the 6th.
Hayden Baumwart was 3 for 4 with 3 RBI. Camden Kirmer drove in 2 runs. Riley Wagner was the winning pitcher, going 4 and a third innings giving up only 2 hits. The Post 5 seniors are now 20-1 for the season. They will begin play in a tournament in Wichita beginning Friday.
The Emporia Junior Legion has added a doubleheader at Iola to be played Friday to their schedule. The Post 5 Juniors have won their last 6 games.
