The City of Lebo will be hosting its 30th annual Stars and Stripes Celebration coming up this weekend to honor Independence Day on Thursday.
Lebo has a whole weekend’s worth of events that kick off Saturday morning. Organizer Jamie Josnoski highlights some of the activities to come.
Other notable events on Saturday:
7:00 am – Pancake Feed hosted by the Lebo High School sophomore class
9:00 am – The Lebo Swim Meet at the Lebo City Pool
9:00 am – Transportation Show and Bob Ellis Memorial Tractor Show
1:00 pm – Free Swim at the Lebo City Pool following the Lebo Swim Meet
3:00 pm – Lawn Mower Races on the Kansas Street Speedway
4:30 pm – Senior Class Barbecue at the Lebo High School
5:30 pm – Homemade ice cream from the Lebo High School freshman class downtown
7:00 pm – Lebo Branch Library hosting an ‘Escape Room’
Sunday also has activities planned including:
12:00 pm – Free Swim at the Lebo Pool
1:00 pm – The Bob Ellis Tractor Pull located at the football field
2:00 pm – American Legion BINGO at the Lebo Community Building
Jasnoski says this long-running event brings a healthy sense of community to Lebo residents.
