The Emporia Municipal Band is ready to add a slice of Americana to the city’s annual Fourth of July event list — and conductor James Davis can’t wait.
Davis previewed the band’s holiday concert on KVOE’s Newsmaker segment Wednesday. Selections include “National Emblem,” “Star Spangled Spectacular,” “American Patrol” and “Stars and Stripes Forever.”
The concert will start at 8 pm at Fremont Park.
