(nascar) NASCAR is at Daytona for the Coke Zero Sugar 400 to be held Sunday after being postponed Saturday
A lightning delay at Daytona International Speedway forced cancellation of qualifying Friday, because it prevented timely completion of Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series inspection before time trials.
Accordingly, with the field ordered according to owner points, Joey Logano will start from the pole position. Kyle Busch, who thought he would have qualified mid-pack if time trials had been held, will start next to Logano on the front row.
Clint Bowyer will start from the 16th spot.
Bowyer is looking to bounce back from last weeks bad finish that dropped him to 16th in the point standings.
Bowyer has had 5 top 5 finishes, 8 top 10 finishes and 4 did not finish, including last weeks race at Chicago.
